This policy explains what data PowerFAST collects when you use our app and charging stations, and how we use and protect it.
1. Who we are
PowerFAST operates a network of shared power-bank charging stations across Egypt, together with the PowerFAST mobile app. This policy describes how we handle your personal data when you use them.
2. Data we collect
Account details (name, phone number, e-mail), rental activity (station, power-bank ID, start and return times), approximate location while you search for stations, and payment confirmations from our payment providers.
3. How we use your data
To operate rentals and returns, calculate fees, run the Watts rewards program, prevent fraud and misuse, and send service notifications about your active rentals.
4. Location data
The map uses your device location only to show nearby stations. Location is used while the app is open and is not tracked in the background.
5. Payments
Payments are processed entirely by licensed third-party payment providers. Your card details are entered on the provider's secure pages and never reach our servers — we never see, store or process full card numbers. We keep only the payment confirmation the provider sends us: the card brand, the last four digits and the transaction record.
6. Sharing
We share data only with payment providers, venues hosting our stations (aggregate usage only) and authorities where the law requires it. We never sell your personal data.
7. Data retention
Rental and payment records are kept for five years to meet accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your account and other data at any time.
8. Your rights
You may access, correct or delete your data, and object to marketing messages, by contacting us or using the in-app account settings.
9. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited to staff who need it to run the service.
10. Children
PowerFAST is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will notify you in the app before the changes take effect.
